I'm Kat, well actually my name is Kathryn and I currently live in Bournemouth, Dorset having lived previously in Exeter in Devon. Go back a few years and you would have found me in the big smoke every weekend, working in a jewellery shop and not having the foggiest idea about surf and the culture it brings with it...
One thing I did know though was that since the age of 11, I was obsessed with filming myself presenting the weather. Yup, I was that girl who made movies on Windows Movie Maker using the 'news' theme with a hand drawn map of the UK behind me. Trust me if I had them clips they would of made it online by now!

Fast forward a few years and I finally put my Environmental Sciences degree to use by landing a job where I am surrounded by meteorologists in the Southwest. In-between that time I was introduced to surfing - and that's where the idea flourished.
My YouTube is a creative spare where I've not only improved my presenting skills but I've gained so much science knowledge and have been introduced to so many lovely people! The videos now consist of sharing my love for the southwest, through surfing tips, the southwest coast path and general chit chat!
