If you are new to my channel you may not be aware of my love for The Wave Project - a charity all based around Surf Therapy for young people . I have been a volunteer with the South Devon Wave Project crew for over a year now and decided it was time to share my amazing experience with others!! 

The vlog that is on my channel has been shared on their blog/website and I hope it will inspire as many of you as possible to get involved in the charity!

Surf Sistas - Cornwall Improver Surf Weekend Review

This review is special one because not only are Surf Sistas a dream to holiday with, BUT, this trip was where Kat’s Surf Forecasts came about. Finishing a glorious surf with the girls, I decided to share my idea of the channel and there and then we filmed the first clip that featured on my first ever YouTube video. Lucy - you are the best. Why do I choose the Surf Sistas Improver Weekend? Having already been on a trip to France with the lovely ladies, it wasn’t hard to chose to go back with them for a more local, confidence building weekend. I had just bought my first surfboard too - an 8ft Torq named Koko and wanted to improve my turtle rolling so that I felt more comfortable paddling outback at one of my local’s beaches!  Where?  The weekend took place at the famous surfing beach Fistral Beach, Newquay. Featured in Surfer Dad - 4 alternatives to Magic Seaweed

Tune in now, before Kat disappears to present the weather on Sky News. Surfer Dad is a blog written by...well...Surfer Dad. A blog dedicated to all things surfing by a wave starved father living in Cornwall. Now this  feature was a pretty cool one; titled '4 alternatives to Magic Seaweed', I was pretty shocked when Surfer Dad asked me for a few lines to include on his recommendations! Now I love MSW - the way they have made surf data so accessible and readable for anyone is brilliant, however it doesn't mean it's the only source of data as highlighted by Surfer Dad's article here !  Thank you Surfer Dad for the feature and I hope you get to surf as much as possible this summer!  Have a read:  alternatives-magic-seaweed
